Throne and Liberty’s Western transfer to NC begins November 10, 2026, but its auction house and selected purchases close temporarily from October 26. Players need to plan around both dates. [1]

A handover timetable is useful only when it explains the consequences for an ordinary session. The immediate questions are practical: can you trade, will your character remain available, and does continuing to play require a decision? Treating the move as one distant maintenance window obscures those separate concerns.

October 26 is the date for traders

The notice says listed items will return through the NPC Storage Manager and pending Lucent from completed sales will be credited. Celebration Packs, Character Boost, and Lucent packs are among the temporarily suspended purchases. Existing possessions are intended to transfer. [1]

For an active trader, the inconvenience is the gap between those dates. A character may retain its possessions while losing a familiar way to turn spare loot into the next purchase. If your regular plan depends on selling something and immediately buying an upgrade, allow for that interruption.

That does not mean players need to panic-sell or spend their balance. An announced closure is a reason to review your plans, not evidence that every price is about to move in a particular direction. We do not have a reliable basis for predicting the market, and neither a bargain nor a shortage is guaranteed.

A transfer is not a character reset

Characters, progression, and entitlements are meant to carry over unless players opt out. Existing platform accounts remain in use; NC’s terms must be accepted. Xbox players need NC’s new app. Exact maintenance duration remains unannounced. [1]

The distinction is reassuring, but it is still a statement of the planned process. Keeping an eye on the official instructions remains sensible, especially for players who expect to log in immediately after maintenance. A timetable that has not been announced should not be replaced with a confident guess.

Players with outstanding account questions should also deal with the relevant support team while the current service is operating. A transfer announcement cannot answer an individual billing or account dispute, and general reassurance is not a substitute for a case-specific response.

The opt-out choice has real consequences

The notice repeatedly specifies October 30 as the opt-out deadline. Opting out prevents character-data transfer, meaning a fresh start if you later join NC’s service. One broader FAQ sentence is less precise; plan around the explicit cutoff pending clarification. [1]

That choice deserves attention rather than a hurried click. Someone who intends to keep playing should understand the normal transfer route. Someone who does not want the transfer should read the linked support instructions and consider what losing continuity means for their account. We are explaining the published options, not making that decision for anyone.

There is a game update behind the administrative work

NC’s October Resistance Report separately outlined planned improvements to gear drops, Hit Chance and Evasion, Vegamor participation, and Skill Core acquisition. Several progression and combat changes were targeted for November. Those are announced plans, rather than proof of what the first post-transfer build will contain. [2]

That distinction matters to returning players. A service handover can change where you seek help and how you log in; a progression update can change why you want to log in. Treating both as one vague “new chapter” makes it harder to judge either.

Our concern is the ordinary week around the move. Can a guild organise its activities without surprises? Can players understand what is unavailable, where their items went, and when to check again? A successful transfer will be measured in those mundane answers as much as in a maintenance-complete announcement.

The publisher has supplied a plan. What players now need is clear follow-through: timely instructions, useful support, and a straightforward explanation when each stage is finished. Keeping a character should not require becoming an amateur project manager.
